Dear Madam or Sir,

I have been living and working in Taiwan for eight years now and have taught many different age groups, from school aged children to adults, at several institutions. Some of the places I have worked were top notch, others the opposite, many in between.

As a professionally trained teacher with eight years of language instruction for the same company in the U.S. behind me, I became weary of working at institutions with faulty curriculums, where teachers were treated as interchangeable pawns and where the managers and overseers knew little to nothing about administration or teaching foreign language (or teaching at all).

Linda went out of her way to find me an appropriate position, near my residence, at a school that offered everything I was looking for. I am ever so grateful for her help, her follow up emails, her constant friendly attitude and persistence. It is a pleasure working with her. I am confident in and impressed with her abilities. She goes above and beyond what most agents do. I am lucky to have her.

Thanks to her savoir fair (astuteness), I now have a job I enjoy very much. My boss is a teacher herself and has been trained to teach EFL. She is truly interested in the well-being of the students as well as the teachers, besides being expert at communicating with parents through honest dialog. It is a small, cozy place where the students feel happy and safe and are excited about learning. It is a joy to be part of their growth - I couldn’t ask for more. My greatest thanks to Linda.

All the best,

A.R. Gittelson
